Thomas Winter graduated Michigan State University and started his career at Frito Lay as a production supervisor, producing corn and potato based snacks.  After a few years, he moved over to manage logistics, production and warehousing for Nestle Waters.  In 1995, he took a position in R&D Leadership at Cadbury Schweppes, received his MBA in Operations Management from the University of Connecticut, and was quickly recruited to manage an aseptic manufacturing factory in Mexico.  In 2004, he transferred with Cadbury back to the US, to manage the Northeast manufacturing and distribution operations, for the newly acquired brand Snapple.   After 13 years at Cadbury, in 2008, he accepted a position as VP US Operations at AAK, and for the next 7 years, he lead AAK’s operational growth from a regional supplier, to become a quality North American supplier to bakery, confectionery and foodservice companies.  From 2015 on he continued to develop and grow operations around the US as VP of Operations and COO.  Tom has joined J&K Ingredients in 2021 as the Vice President of Operations.
